Brothers for Life Mourns Passing of Deputy Health Minister

The Brothers for Life men’s campaign has lost a valued ally in Deputy Health Minister Dr Molefi Sefularo, who was tragically killed in a car accident on 5 April.

“Dr Molefi Sefularo had shown considerable support for the Brothers for Life campaign, recognising it as an important element in national efforts to engender responsible lifestyles among South African men,” says Brothers for Life project manager Mandla Ndlovu.

“Dr Sefularo was widely respected as a doctor and administrator, and had made important contributions to the fight against HIV/AIDS. To us, he was a most valued friend as a senior member of government, as a medical doctor – and as a Brother. His support and input will be sorely missed by Brothers for Life.

“We would like to extend our sincere condolences to his family for their loss, as well as to the Cabinet.”
