Serame Moreo

Known in his town of Mafikeng as an HIV activist, Serame Moreo has been living with HIV for the past 18 years and nothing has stopped him from living his life in full, thanks to ARV treatment. This 44 year-old man who was nicknamed 'Superstar', - a local slang for playboy- is determined to use his experience to mobilise men to take responsibility for their own health by testing for HIV, and start treatment if positive, and always use condoms. Don't miss Tsabagolo Presenter Thapelo talking to Serame Moreo about how he has been able to stay healthy and have the courage to talk about his journey of living with the virus.

About Us

We hope to achieve this by promoting positive male norms and encourage men to test for HIV and undergo Medical Male Circumcision (MMC), actively take a stand against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in their communities.
